In a far reaching conversation with 12voltnews.com Goodman said “I have been on almost every side of the 12volt industry over the last three decades. At this point in my business career I decided to put my experiences to work in a different way. In the market today there are many smaller hi tech companies coming onto the 12volt scene with a great product or service.”

FRISCO, TX/SHREVEPORT, LA – Last weekend’s Consumer Electronics Expo is sending positive waves throughout the 4 state territory – positive sales waves.
Sunbelt Associates and Distributor principal Dave Stiehl, one of the presenting distributors, told 12voltnews.com “What a great show and venue. This event is now a manufacturer oriented event and not a distributor show. Regional shows like CEE are definitely becoming a factor in the 12 volt arena. Too many of our dealers just can’t commit resources to attend a national show.”
FRISCO, TX/SHREVEPORT, LA – Texas is known for things big. The 5th Annual Consumer Electronics Expo could be the best thing since the longneck for the 12volt industry. Six distributors in the marketplace getting together to host 12volt retailers from throughout the territory. Imagine that. Southwest Electronics, Sunbelt Associates and Distributing, Electronic Lane Mobile, Progressive Concepts-PCI, LESCO Distributing, and ERA Marketing, all working together to stimulate and grow the 12volt market.
FRISCO, TX/SHREVEPORT, LA – The 5th annual Consumer Electronics Expo was a very productive 2 days for all in the 12volt industry who attended. Manufacturers, distributors, reps and dealers had two days, plus casino night, to talk shop, see new products and catch up with old friends.
On the 12volt side a total of just over 320 12volt retail businesses were represented. The total number of businesses was up over last year’s number. Total attendance was down single digits.
FRISCO, TX – Electronic Lane Mobile is one of the founding distributor members of the “CEE” group. Scott Ringo told 12voltnews.com “This was a great show for the vendors we work with and our company. It was a lot of work and I really want to thank all of our staff members. They really put forth a tremendous effort. Coordinating the launch of AT&T Cruisecast with the limo and several demo vehicle installations was quite a juggling act along with our other key 12volt lines. In the end will certainly be worth the effort.”
FRISCO, TX – Retailers connected with manufacturers May 30th and 31st at the 5th annual Consumer Electronics Expo. Home and 12volt dealers had the opportunity to see the latest products from over 80 brands. The 12volt side of the show was especially busy. Many retailers in the four state trade area did not attend CES 2009 – for them it was a chance to see some new models for the first time.
A big industry thanks to Southwest Electronix, Electronic Lane Mobile, SunBelt Associates & Distributing, Electronic Lane, Progressive Concepts, LESCO Distributing and ERA Marketing.
