Chuck McLennan, Fusion National Sales Manager, recently stopped at 12voltnews.com in Shreveport, LA. McLennan said “Fusion is faring well in 2009. Retailers are looking for a line that can be a profit center for their stores. They are finding Fusion to be that line of car audio.”

Continuing, McLennan noted “On the marine side, Fusion is really strong and showing sales growth every month. The marine line was developed from the very beginning as marine product. It stands up to the harsh marine events and has features that other brands don’t – like 3 zone technology to control sound in different areas of the craft. Fusion’s iPOD friendly marine head units were far ahead of the curve.”

Store traffic had been down a bit lately at Sam’s Audio and Lucso obviously wanted to turn the tide. The decision was made to have a 20th Anniversary event designed to rekindle relationships with past customers and remind the community that Sam’s Audio appreciated their patronage. Lusco also wanted the community to know that business was moving forward at Sam’s Audio.

Marine Audio Sales Are Strong

Staff at Audio Advice in Tulsa, OKShreveport, LA – Reports from around the US continue to indicate marine audio sales are strong with 12volt retailers. The marine audio business is exceptionally strong for 12volt retailers who have committed to the category with a selection of brands and a functioning retail display.

“Our marine business is up probably 50% this year. We are doing all types of boats- cabin cruisers, ski boats and even a 36′ cigarette boat,” said Jay Crabb of Audio Advice in Tulsa, OK.
