Sixth Avenue's Audi A4 is on the Hauler for Pioneer's Build Off 4.0

The Pioneer Stage 4 ampilers arranged in the trunk of the project.SPRINGFIELD, NJ – Sixth Avenue Electronics has participated in Pioneer Build Offs and Pioneer show projects through the years. The company’s entry this year is housed in a ’06 Audi A4 which promised to impress in a spectacular way.

Jimmy Milne, Jose Vazquez and Don Barros all played an important role in the project – with assistance from Andre Lopes and Cesar Pacheco.

Car Concepts have creatively mounted the amps in the truck of this Audi.Salt Lake City, UT – “This is our second Pioneer Sound Build Off. We look forward to showcasing our creation in LaQuinta” Ryan Goeller told Car Concepts is participating in this year’s Build Off with a silver ’03 Audi A4. The V6 twin turbo has been lowered a bit and sets on aftermarket wheels.

Goeller continued “We wanted to create a vehicle customers could relate to – one that was cool with just a touch of flash. This Audi A4 is a vehicle that a wide range of consumers can afford.

The Speed of Avenue Sound

DSC_0074Freeport, NY – Avenue Sound is on a fast track with Pioneer’s 2010 line, Stage 4 products and the Build Off 4.0. The company’s 2000 Viper, featuring a special order dark grey paint scheme, will house the Stage 4 system that each participant installs for the 2010 Build Off.

Billy Moerler, a 16 year veteran with Avenue Sound, relayed to “We are so impressed with the performance of all the Stage 4 products. In our Viper we didn’t have much room to work with. The 99RS fit right into the single DIN slot in the dash. We designed a layout in the truck to arrange the amplifiers down the center and fabricated sub enclosures on the sides.

The Audio Connection Connects with Pioneer Build Off 4.0

This image shows the intior construction in the hatch area of the 240sx.Baltimore, MD – The Audio Connection, based in Baltimore, has literally built a new vehicle for Pioneer’s Sound Build Off 4.0 The body of The Audio Connection’s entry is a ’96 Nissan 240SX. An engine from a GTO (a 350 LSI with a turbo), along with a new drive train, was mated to the 240SX body.

Dave Bran told “This will be an insanely fast vehicle that will definitely show off Pioneer’s new Stage 4 products. The matte black finish and carbon fiber hood will certainly let all know this is no ordinary machine.

“Sound of Tri-State is honored to be invited to the Pioneer Roadshow Stage 4 Build Off. This is our second entry in the annual Pioneer Build Off. The last time we entered the Pioneer Build Off we used one of our customers vehicle, for this year’s Stage 4 event we are using our Install Manager’s Infinity. This will give us the ability to have a demo system at the store on a daily basis.

The thought of his new “baby” participating in a national event in La Quinta, CA never entered his mind.

“Our TNT Audio project will be “factory” with some flash. We have converted the electrical system to 14 volts and fabricated pillars to facilitate speaker placement for the 6’s and tweeters.

Sounds Unique Set For Pioneer Build Off

Rudy Costales takes a quick break from his hecktic schedule.  "The 99RS is one awsome head unit"Las Cruces NM – Sounds Unique is participating in Pioneer’s Sound Build Off for the first time.

Rudy Costales told “I’ve followed the history of the Build Off since its inception. To be participating this year is an honor for our company”.

The Sounds Unique team selected a pearl white 2006 Toyota Avalon for the Build Off project. Castales said “The Avalon is a car many people can relate to and gives us a good amount of space to work some Stage 4 magic”.

For DreamToyz Chris DeSanto relayed to “We really want to showcase Pioneer’s Stage 4 products in a very unique way. Our ’64 Ford Galaxie, once a Chip Foose daily driver, was a natural choice for us. The Boyd Cottington wheels and steering wheel only add to the vehicle’s character”.

Sound Waves Gears to Pioneer Build Off

Sound Waves' 1971 Karmann Ghia placed second in Build Off 3.0 and has been a ficture in the company's Memphis show room since last year's Build Off.Memphis, TN – Memphis based Sound Waves is definitely a Pioneer Sound Build Off veteran. Mike Irwin told “We competed in the initial Build Off and finished just out of the money, but it was a great learning experience. We skipped a year and then finished in 2nd place last year in Long Beach. We are putting all that experience into our ’07 Yukon project for this year’ Build Off 4.0.

The interior of the Sound Waves’ lowered Yukon was virtually stripped to the bare metal. The installation team of John Irwin, Travis Williams, Mike McHughes and Alex Barger wanted as much real estate as possible to showcase the Stage 4 products and concentrate on the sound quality portion of the competition.
