“Since 2003, VAIS Technology has been developing satellite radio adapters for vehicles that are not equipped from the factory with S/iriusXM tuners,” says Dennis Hopper, Vice President of Sales. “While satellite radio is more popular than ever, many brand new vehicles don’t offer any way to listen to SiriusXM. Our company develops simple, easy to install adapters that add satellite radio but preserve factory functionality.”

The new VAIS Technology GSR-G01 and GSR-G02 kits provide coverage for seven 2016-2017 GM models: The 2016 and 2017 Chevy Malibu, the 2017 Chevy Tax, the 2016 GMC Sierra and 2016 Chevy Silverado, the 2017 Chevy Sonic, and the 2016 Chevy Cruz.

Connecting directly to the factory stereo, the GSR-G01 and the GSR-G02 do not affect original stereo functionality. In fact, VAIS Technology satellite radio adapters often mimic factory satellite radio systems, making the system as seamless as possible.

“We design our satellite radio adapters to operate just like the factory satellite radio systems,” explains Hopper. “While it takes more work on our part, our customers really appreciate the factory-like functionality. In act, a lot of our customers are new dealerships who are trying to add satellite radio to a brand new car without paying for an expensive factory stereo upgrade.”
