LOUISVILLE, KY (06.06.2016) – KICKER loaded up its XRV (Xtreme Recreational Vehicle) and attended the third annual Unlimited Off-Road American Show & Expo, June 3-5 at the Louisville, Kentucky Exposition Center.
KICKER set up next to the Convention Center with the XRV tractor-trailer and its 20,000-watt Boom Room powered up for show-goers to experience. Accompanying the XRV was a fully-equipped Polaris RZR , complete with KICKER Powersports amplifiers, speakers and subwoofers. A customized KICKER Jeep was also on display, equipped with VSS (Vehicle-Specific Solutions) audio upgrades made for the Wrangler.
Billed as the “Largest Off-Road Show In the Mid-West And East”, the event registered over 13,000 in attendance at last year’s Expo and even higher numbers turned out this year. The show featured 200 manufacturers representing the Jeep, truck, UTV, buggy, outdoor and adventure sports industries.
The three-day Expo featured a non-stop event schedule, both in and around the Convention Center. The five-acre track hosted six obstacle course races during the event, along with a televised Jeep JK build hosted by Xtreme Off-Road’s Ian Johnson (part of the PowerNation TV lineup). An R/C rock-crawling course and test drives from Arctic Cat & Ford was available all three days. Visitors saw monster-truck and mega-truck shows, ULTRA4 races, charity raffles, a History Channel vehicle reveal, and parties in downtown Louisville.
Thanks to Bill Braun from KICKER for providing great images from the scene.
