PHOENIX, AZ (03.02.2016) – The Mountain West Phoenix Car Audio Show 2016 Thursday, February 25th at the company’s Broadway Road location, kicked off the season. Dealers saw the latest products from vendors on the Mountain West line card, met with factory staffs and reps plus loaded up on great show deals.
Mountain West’s Garrett Breinholt related to 12voltnews.com, “Overall, the show was very successful. Sales were strong and dealers turned out in good numbers. Closeout pricing drove sales of 2015 headunits, amps and subs. We were clearing out the remaining 2015 models and had 2 pages of specials – of which more than half were gone in the first hour of the show.”
The “Spin for Cash Wheel” was loaded for dealers placing orders. Many lucky dealers won big bucks from thousands on the wheel.
The Memphis Audio line was introduced to Mountain West dealers at the show with the company’s Nick LoMonaco in the house. Breinholt stated, “We launched the Memphis Audio brand and dealer feedback was very good-even from direct dealers who can now fill in from us same day.”
Erik Harbour, PowerBass, stated, “Dealers attending the Mountain West event definitely saw the strength of the PowerBass lineup across the board. Our in-store display grabbed attention too. John Ash, with our rep firm Pacific Coast Marketing, was busy throughout the day working with area dealers.”
Clarion’s Robin McNeal was on site and noted the company’s new NX706 receiver with 7” screen, Navi/DVD/Digital out and more, grabbed a lot of attention from dealers.
SiriusXM’s Tracie Persinger relayed to 12voltnews.com, “As a territory manager I am always grateful for the opportunity to talk to SiriusXM dealers face to face. It takes a lot of work to organize these shows so we really appreciate it when we get invited to work with distributors and their dealers. The Mountain West Dealer Show is always a good show to attend and the MW team does a great job for SiriusXM in their territories.”
Vendor support was strong with Tracie Presinger-SiriusXM, Adrian Stoner-Power Acoustik/Farenheit, Brett Lewis-SSV Works, Alvin Klement-Crimestopper and Jeff Fletcher-Metra, plus the aforementioned McNeal, Harbour and LoMonaco, on site to work with dealers alongside the Mountain West staff members.
Outside the Mountain West facility were a number of show cars area dealers brought to showcase their work and brands they support.
12volt brands exhibiting included: Kicker, JVC, Metra, Crux, PowerBass, Memphis, Crimestopper, Atrend, Autopage, Clarion, Dynamat, Power Acoustik, Farenheit, Race Sport, Rosen, SiriusXM, and SSV Works.
