The top of the line AV6995MB (MSRP $369.99) double DIN multimedia receiver features a capacitive touchscreen LCD, 2-Way DualMirror technology, 1080p playback from USB thumb drives, built-in Bluetooth technology (ID3 tag, HFP, A2DP, AVRCP & PBAP), 2.1A USB charging, 6-band graphic EQ, and 3 pairs of 4V RMS RCA preamp outputs (F/R/S).

Three out of the five new multimedia receivers (AV6995MB, AV6336MB and AV7336MB) offer 2-Way DualMirror technology, which allows mirroring (Apple & Android), and control (Android only) of a connected smartphone directly from the receiver’s touchscreen. A wireless connection is available via the DMH25 DualCast WiFi Dongle (MSRP: $44.99), which plugs into the receiver and communicates with any smartphone using WiFi Direct. A wired connection is available using a cable (sold separately).

All five multimedia models feature built-in Bluetooth technology. Three out of the five models (AV6995MB, AV6336MB and AV7336MB) offer ID3 tag to display album, song and artist information on the receiver’s screen during music streaming from an Apple or Android smartphone. The Bluetooth phone book support (PBAP), available on the AV6995MB, allows the receiver to download the list of contacts from the connected smartphone, enabling the user to browse the contacts, and to dial/initiate a call straight from the receiver. All models feature hands-free calling (HFP), and audio streaming with player control support (A2DP & AVRCP) profiles.

Two out of five models (AV6116Bi and AV7116Bi) offer direct USB control for iPod/iPhone devices, as well as control for Pandora radio app on an iPhone connected via USB.

All models, except the AV6995MB, feature RGB Custom Colors with over 16 million color illumination combinations for hard buttons, as well as on-screen menu icons and buttons.

All models feature front panel USB inputs for music playback. The AV6995MB adds 1080p playback from USB thumb drives, and 2.1A charging capability via the front USB input, allowing for convenient charging of electronics, including tablets and iPad devices. All other models offer full 1A charging from the front USB input. The AV6336MB and AV7336MB also offer rear USB 2.1A charging.

All models feature 3 pairs of 4V RMS preamp outputs (F/R/S), as well as built-in programmable steering wheel control (no separate module required), 3-band parametric EQ, 5 preset EQs (7 preset EQ in the AV6995MB), 2 video outputs, and are back-up camera ready.
