Mobileye Seeks Technical Support Manager – Jericho, NY

Mobileye, the leading manufacturer of OE and aftermarket collision avoidance systems, is seeking a manager for its U.S. Technical Support department. This “hands on” position is responsible for managing a team of 5 people covering our customer support line (phone and email), field service work, customer and partner trainings, product installations, and partner integrations. The position is based in Long Island, NY.

  • Combination management / individual contributor role (50/50).
  • Manage department of 5 home office based technician.
  • Provide support to customers and installers at the fleet, distributor and retail levels relating to product installation, troubleshooting and operation by phone, email, and onsite.
  • Manage and perform installations for large fleet pilot testing, individual customers and industry partners as needed.
  • Manage field “CAN Sniffing” for vehicle database additions.
  • Oversee the diagnosis and trends of product issues, interface with Engineering, and control the RMA process.
  • Manage spare parts, field training and field services as a support system for Sales.
  • Develop, deliver and manage product and installation training.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Technical background with vehicles (cars, trucks, buses). Automotive aftermarket product installation skills including vehicle disassembly, modification, electrical diagnostics and product installation.
  • Team management experience
  • College degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel overnight at least 25% of the time. Comfortable working “shirt sleeves up” in odd environments.
  • Ability to quickly master Mobileye proprietary software applications.
  • Proficiency in business computer applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM.
  • A confident and articulate communicator. Exceptional organization skills.
