DALLAS, TX (08.17.2015) – KnowledgeFest 2015 is underway in Dallas at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. Setup was Friday, August 14th. Event days are Saturday through Monday August 15th through 17th.
From the opening bell on Saturday educational sessions experienced strong attendance. The exhibit hall, home to nearly 50 brands, was active on Saturday after the noon opening. Vendor trainings late afternoon preceded the Town Hall reception, Opening Keynote by Tim Parenti and well attended Town Hall Meeting. Parenti’s Keynote, titled “Attitude-The Power to Direct or Misdirect” hit home with many business owners and other industry members in the audience.
Sunday’s activities got underway at 8:30 AM for another slate of educational sessions. The exhibit hall, that included a luncheon for attendees, was very active after noon. SiriusXM’s John Zamparelli related to 12voltnews.com, “The show traffic has been really great. Very impressed. Talking with dealers firsthand about the 2Ways2Save promo and introducing our new Commander Touch product was very productive.”
The Focal booth, including Illusion Audio and Mosconi, was particularly active with a strong group of demo vehicles. Pete Daley, with the area rep firm Marketing Pros, stated, “This booth has been slammed. The vehicles were amazing and the Mosconi Pico micro amp was a real attention getter. The Focal red carpet backdrop was a lot of fun too. Importantly the training sessions were packed.”
A big draw on the show floor was the so cool L&H Mobile Electronics demo vehicle in the Memphis Car Audio booth. The Topeka, KS based retailer crafted a showpiece highlighting Memphis Car Audio products spotlighted by lots of bright blue LED lighting. Mike Hepner, Memphis Car Audio’s area representative, commented, “No question about it – the L&H demo was the talk of the show. The L&H crew utilizes the vehicle for store and community promotions to draw attention and drive their business.”
SiriusXM’s Commander Touch, Cerwin Vega RPM speakers, DD Audio’s 8-channel DSP and 21” woofer, Avidworx M3 custom experience displays plus Kicker’s Klock Werks products for cycles were products that grabbed the attention of attendees.
Sunday drew to a close with vendor training sessions and an Industry Networking event.
Monday marks the final day of KnowledgeFest 2015 with the exhibit hall open in the AM followed by afternoon vendor trainings and educational sessions. KnowledgeFest 2015 concludes with the Mobile Electronics Industry Award Reception, Dinner and highly anticipated Mobile Electronics Industry Awards presentations.
