PATCHOGUE, NY (06.17.2015) – The Annual Avenue Sound “Battle of the Boom” drew a tremendous crowd to see the latest 12volt gear, great demo vehicles, show cars and pick up great deals plus compete in the SPL lanes. The event was held at the Avenue Sound location in Patchogue the weekend of June 13th and 14th.
“Every year the event gets better and better. The Avenue Sound event was absolutely fantastic – Baby. Sales over the weekend were terrific. The store was jammed with customers and the parking lot, and the area around the store, was packed with demo vehicles and “Battle of the Boom” competitors. The Avenue Sound team works so hard to organize the event and that effort is a real awareness builder for the entire 12volt industry across metro New York City,” Big Daddy’s Morris Hartman related to 12voltnews.com. Hartman was on site with the JBL, Infinity, Lightning Audio, Reikken, Energie and Renegade brands.
Rep firms in the area were on site to demo new technology and help close sales. Eric Smith, Northeastern Marketing commented, “The Battle of the Boom is a very strong event and sales were brisk. We represent Rockford Fosgate and the brand was really showcased at the event. Car audio, marine, power sports and cycle products were displayed very prominently. A Harley, Sound Lab and 4 other demo vehicles put the brand front and center at the event The mini Sound Lab draws a big crowd at every show.”
Pioneer’s Jeff Shultz relayed to 12voltnews.com, “The Avenue Sound Battle of the Boom was a huge success. The store was packed with consumers on both Saturday and Sunday. People were coming up to ask about the Pioneer NEX products and the Connect Smart consumer rebate that helped drive sales to the register. Outside the parking lots were full of demo cars and competitors registered for the SPL contests. It’s great to participate in a well organized event held by a true businesswoman who promotes and genuinely looks out for the betterment of the 12volt industry. I always look forward to working AvenueSound events.
“Hiru, Jai, Vikas, the entire Moolchandani family and staff really went all out to plan and orchestrate this event,” Hartman concluded.
