Avenue Sound Battle of the BOOM 2015 in Patchogue, NY

12VOLT CENTRAL (06.15.2015) – The weekend of Saturday and Sunday, June 13th and 14th, actually began on Thursday June 11th for 12volt companies looking to connect with consumers and enthusiasts. The CMA Music Festival-Nashville, OC Car Show-Ocean City, Avenue Sound’s Battle of the Boom-Patchoque and Slamology 2015 in Indy were major events on the schedule.

The Alpine Restyle Tour made a stop in downtown Nashville as part of the Country Music Awards activities. Streets in downtown Nashville were closed as tens of thousands of festival goers checked out a large number of exhibitors and events. The Alpine Restyle booth, underneath a large bright blue tent, a featured decked out a Jeep Wrangler and Chevy pickup featuring Alpine’s 9” screens with navigation and multi-media in the dash. Additional Restyle product displays, for other vehicle brands, were also in the booth. An exciting social media initiative encouraged festival goers to take images and selfies and post to #alpinerestyle for chances to win Alpine headphones and VIP tickets.

Local retailer Cartronics, with 3 locations, was in the booth to connect with area consumers. Nathan Dunn, who heads the company’s day-to-day operations commented, “We were busy throughout the event and we connected with so many consumers. The daily contests for Alpine headphones and VIP tickets created a buzz in the booth that was matched when people experienced the Alpine systems in the Wrangler and Chevy truck. One visitor to the booth was so impressed he scheduled an appointment for a 9” Alpine Restyle system in his 2010 GMC Denali. We have so many leads and anticipate those leads with lead to many Alpine Restyle systems.”

The OC Car Show in Ocean City MD is an annual event that draws a large crowd to the Ocean City Convention Center and surrounding grounds. Area retailers Sound of Tri-State and SoundFX set up booths with great deals for attendees June 13th and 14th. The Sound of Tri-State booth featured a Rockford Fosgate Mini SoundLab and drew those on the floor to experience the sound chamber.

SoundFX took their exhibit to a high level with tall trussing and large flat panels to let attendees see the great deals. Demos vehicles also showcased key SoundFX brands.

The Opus Marketing team of Jamie, Bruno, Chuck and Todd was on hand to support SOT and SoundFX. Jamie White commented, “It’s great to see retailers making a major effort to get in front of consumers. An event like the OC Car Show is packed with enthusiasts – our customers. We were on site to support the Kicker and Viper brands with these key retailers.”

Avenue Sound’s annual Battle of the Boom is a major area event for sound off competitors and consumers looking to check out great demo vehicles and pickup on great deals on 12volt gear. The parking lot and areas around the Patchogue location were filled with dozens of SPL competitors. Inside the sales staff was busy both days working with customers to select gear and schedule installation appointments.

Big Daddy’s Morris Hartman, who was in the middle of the action, commented to 12voltnews.com, “I just got to tell you Hiru, Jai, Vikas and their staff go all out to make the Battle of the Boom an event for all in the area to enjoy and talk about for months. There were great system packages and those items were flying out the door.”

Slamology 2015 packed the Lucas Oil Raceway in Indy the weekend of June 13th and 14th. The infield of the huge venue was filled with stage, vendor tents and demo vehicles plus hundreds of competitor entries. The skies stayed clear and the demo vehicles from brands including DD Audio, DS-18, McLaren Audio and more registered extremely high SPL levels. Many of the ladies on site performed their best hair-tricks.
