BRIDGEPORT, CT (05.13.2015) – The Furious 7 movie was one of the pre-summer hits at the movie theater box offices. Juan Zambrano, Voltz AutoSports owner, put together a “Free” ticket contest via social media.
Zambrano commented, “That movie had so much hype. Not only the Paul Walker aspect but the idea of another in the Fast and Furious series. I got the idea and bought a couple tickets at a local theater with a great sound system. We took pictures of the tickets and made our first post announcing the contest and outlined the promotion.”
The promo started a couple weeks prior to the movie premiere.
“We had about 20 entries and candidly I had hoped for more – as is always the case. I think the concept is great and plan a similar contest the first part of June. For just over $20. we got quite a bit of exposure and made one lady very happy as she gave the tickets to her husband,” Zambrano stated to 12voltnews.com.
Zambrano posted a short video clip of the ticket drawing and followed that with a post of the winner picking up the tickets.
“Great job Juan,” 12voltnews.com.
