LAS VEGAS, NV (01.12.2015) – Soundstream introduced their Mobile Link series source units, which are intended to enhance the driving experience by synching your smartphone to the in-car entertainment system. Soundstream, located at CES booth #1515, demonstrated this product throughout the 2015 International CES.

The Mobile Link series source units mirror the display of your smart device onto the LCD screen of several in-car entertainment products, including select Mobile 8.1 source units, headrests, and overhead displays. This will allow you to share pictures, movies, social media content, and more with other passengers. These source units will also follow your smartphone’s navigation commands on the larger head unit LCD, instead of the smaller smartphone display.

soundstream-ces15-wideBluetooth V3.0 with Enhanced Data Rate increases traditional data transfer rates to 2.1 Mbit/s. This lightning quick data transfer increases clarity and virtually eliminates unwanted distortion during calls and wireless MP3 audio playback. Most Bluetooth enabled smartphones will transfer phone book contacts, view recent call logs, and stream MP3 audio tracks.

Digital Signal Processing (DSP) features include a digital 4-band equalizer with 7dB boost or cut, custom presets, and factory presets. Additional DSP functions include subwoofer level control with low-pass crossover, loudness adjustment, and sound staging controls.
