STILLWATER, OK (10.04.2014) – The Goodguys Hall-of-Fame Road Tour stopped at KICKER Audio headquarters Wednesday, Oct. 1, during an 8-day trek from California to Texas. After arriving late Wednesday afternoon, tour participants toured the KICKER facility and enjoyed dinner before resting at a local hotel that evening. While visiting KICKER, participants experienced the legendary Wall of Boom, along with several other custom-built cars and powersports audio systems located inside the KICKER Visitors Center. The group continued its journey Thursday morning to its final destination.
The public was invited to visit KICKER and check out the outstanding automobiles.
“These folks love the attention their builds generate and relish the opportunity to share them with everyone,” said Kevin Campbell, KICKER Director of Marketing. “We welcomed each visitor with an exciting afternoon of plans and had them leave Thursday with something to remember the KICKER brand by.”
Beginning the tour at the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association headquarters in Pleasantville, CA., and ending at the next scheduled car show in Ft. Worth, TX, the vehicles will travel 2,400 miles and visit several impressive destinations including custom builder Kindig-It Design and the Nevada Northern Railway. Every detail of the tour was predetermined and no planning was necessary other than registration. About 40 vehicles and nearly 100 participants are making the trek, and all rides are from 1972-or-earlier and of American-make. The tour began Sept. 25 in memory of Jack Trepanier, a key member of the Rad Rides team.
