The weather was cool – but the sound was hot in the RE Audio Sprinter as Kelly Huebert cranked the volume at the Mid-State Fargo event.

SHREVEPORT, LA (04.28.2014) – Activity is definitely heating up across the 12volt industry. This snap shot of the last few days shows industry members, at all levels, working to create excitement and build awareness for the mobile electronics category. It was a cool, rainy couple of days in Fargo ND for the Mid-State Distributing dealer event Thursday and Friday, April 24th and 25th. “Mid-State is doing an excellent job with the RE Audio line since recently coming onboard. Our training session went very well and Kelly put the RE Audio Sprinter through its paces for dealers,” Mark Pyle, National Sales Manager, stated to 12voltnews.com.

The Vickers AV Dealer show offered a full schedule for dealers – a Saturday night appreciation gathering followed by an event filled Sunday, April 27th. The company’s Marietta warehouse was filled with dealers connecting with vendors to see new product offerings and pick up super show specials.

Petra’s 12th Annual Car eXpo played to a full house in the company’s massive Edmond facility and surrounding parking lot. The RE Audio Sprinter was a highlight demo vehicle at this event too.

Alan Wojtas, who was on site with the Metra and RaceSport brands he represents, related to 12voltvnews.com, “The traffic was strong. Petra hosts a terrific event and dealers took advantage of super show deals from Metra brands and Race Sport.”

On the consumer side, Brooklyn’s Proline Car Stereo put it all on the line during the New York City Auto Show. For three weekend days Proline, and their brands, catered to thousands of consumers and enthusiasts in the DUB Show hall at the Jacob Javit’s Center. The 3 show days were preceded by 2 intense setup days. A tear down day added to the overall commitment from the Proline staff, vendors, reps and supporters like Morris Hartman and Big Daddy’s.

On the West Coast, Taylor Marketing rolled out the rep firm’s new Lightning Audio demo van. The Nissan’s maiden trip was into the area north of Los Angles and included stop at area retailers Advanced Car Stereo, Soundz Good Stereo and Stereo Land. Rep firm principal Mike Taylor was behind the wheel and Lightning Audio’s Donnie Montgomery was riding shotgun during the dealer swing.
