The Heatwave series, promoted by David MacDonald, is geared as a circuit for enthusiasts to show their rides and projects. Cars, trucks, and virtually any vehicle with wheels will be on the venue floor. In addition, a USACi competition will provide a platform for competitors. Sound Quality (SQ) and Sound Pressure (SPL) contests will rock the American Bank Center.
Heatwave’s MacDonald related to 12voltnews.com “Heatwave events provide a venue for enthusiasts to show their vehicles, visit with fellow enthusiasts and share ideas. Our events also provide a way for aftermarket vendors to put their products in from of consumers. The event floor and grounds were packed in South Padre this spring. Our Houston event was as hot as the weather and the Custom Sounds Texas Heatwave in Austin was strong – in spite of the stormy weather. We think Corpus will pack the house too.”
A Tattoo Expo will be incorporated into the Corpus Christi event as well. Attendees will have an opportunity to be “inked” by some of the finest tattoo artists in Texas.
“Our Heatwave events cater to a young demographic that enjoys car audio, tricking their rides and adding a little “ink”. The Competition Sounds team and I look forward to seeing you in Corpus, Saturday and Sunday – October 5th and 6th” MacDonald concluded.
