DAYTONA BEACH, FL (08.15.2013) – One of IASCA’s competitor members is making the transition to IASCA event promotion, to host events for members and retailers.

Kenneth Coleman of Las Vegas has been an IASCA competitor for a number of years; serving in the United States Air Force, Kenneth is originally from Birmingham, AL and has been stationed all over the globe, from Italy to Korea and Iraq, as well as assignments in Bulgaria and Sweden. Kenneth has also served here in the U.S.A. at bases in Texas, Arizona and Florida, currently stationed in Nevada.

“I got into competing while stationed in Italy. The shows there always were fun and very American friendly regardless of how many people showed up.” said Coleman. ” Working with some other military members, we came up with an idea to bring IASCA to our area. After getting some very useful information along the way I felt it would be best if I became a promoter for IASCA and breathe a little life back into the sport here in Vegas. My goal as the Nevada promoter is to put together IASCA events that people will remember and come back asking for more. By creating a fun, surprising and family like atmosphere I’m confident I can accomplish my goal.”

Kenneth has been married for 9 years, has an 8 year old daughter named Keyra and he and his wife Mayann are expecting their first son next month.

logo_iasca“Kenneth emailed me about 4 years ago while he was stationed in Italy” said Moe Sabourin, Director of Operations at IASCA Worldwide Inc. “From our initial conversation, I could tell he was a very motivated individual with a true passion for car audio, IASCA competition and a desire to help our industry grow. We welcome him and his team to our IASCA family and will do all we can to help him succeed in his efforts to build the car audio competition industry in Nevada.”

IASCA has event promoters in close to 30 States in the USA, from California to Florida and from Oregon to New York State. “We’re very proud of our Event Promoters and Directors” Sabourin continued to say “They embody the passion for car audio that built our industry many years ago and that still exists in this country, and are out there helping our industry gain exposure with the public. And they do this because they love it… we as an industry need to support them.”

“We I have a long road ahead and much to learn but with my supporting cast the road will be less bumpy and more exciting. Now time to put in work” Coleman concluded.
