MECHANICSVILLE, VA (08.12.2013) – Specialty Marketing is set for the final two stops on the company’s 2013 Tech and Listening Tour – Buffalo on Tuesday, August 13th and Syracuse on Thursday August 15th.
Lance Diehr, who heads Specialty’s 12volt division, stated to 12voltnews.com “Buffalo and Syracuse mark the final two stops on our 6-City 2013 Tech and Listening Tour. By tour end we anticipate nearly 300 dealers will have had an opportunity to meet with our vendor partners, have checked out the latest products from our lineup of key 12volt brands and had an opportunity for hands on training and listening experiences.”
Continuing, Diehr added “And there is late breaking news. Audio Control has been added to our product mix in the Upstate area. That’s big news plus some of our vendors have indicated we may get a sneak peek at a 2014 model or two.”
Previous stops on the 2013 Specialty Marketing 2013 Tour have included Mechanicsville VA, Fairfield NJ, Greensboro NC and Baltimore.
“RSVPs for our Buffalo and Syracuse events has been strong. Dealers in the Upstate New York area have not seen an event like Specialty has set for Buffalo and Syracuse. Many do not travel to major shows and this is an opportunity to see a large number of brands, get hands on training, see great demo vehicles and meet with vendors and factory reps. The Sony GS Listening demo will really open some eyes and ears. On top of that we will have good food, raffles and vendor giveaways. In addition a $25. gas is available for each dealer location that attends” Jeff Jones, Specialty’s area representative commented.
Team members from Opus Marketing will be on sight. “Dealers can learn and see so much. The DEI hands on training sessions, centered on new time saving technology, are just in time to prepare dealers for the remote starter season. “I am driving from Michigan to the Specialty events to work with John Femino. We will have two vehicles set up with Mobileye onboard. We can answer all dealer questions and give them specific information on how to market the collision avoidance category. Dealers are reporting seeing a new customer base and gross profit of several hundred dollars on 560 sales and installations. Dealers in Upstate New York are benefiting greatly from Specialty Marketing’s Fairfield NJ warehouse. Jones added “Many dealers receive orders the next day from our new Jersey facility. The far reaches of the territory are serve in just 2 days. For Audio Control our dealers in the area will now see much faster delivery.”
Rydeen’s Jim Newell said “We will have our newest models on display and our area representative looks forward to showing dealers how profitable it can be to sell a Rydeen Mirror product.”
