“Our Baltimore event was another venue for dealers in our territory to see new products and meet with area reps and factory staff members. Hands-on sessions from DEI, hearing the Sony GS Speakers perform and taking a test ride in the Mobieye demo gave dealers attending the event some great ammo to take back to their stores and work into their marketing, and profit plans” Lance Diehr commented to 12voltnews.com.
Continuing Diehr added “The Baltimore event was the fourth stop on our 2013 Listening and Tech Tour. Dealers have commented that they gained a lot of info and are happy they attended. The final two stops on our tour will be August 13th in Buffalo and August 15th in Syracuse. Dealers in that area have not seen an event like our tour in their area for a long time. We anticipate a large turnout at both venues.”
Jamie White, Opus Marketing, commented to 12voltnews.com “The Specialty Baltimore event was a great way for 12volt dealers in the area to see the latest products from a large number of brands, participate in live demos and network with their peers in the area. The Opus staff looks at this as a tremendous opportunity to prepare dealers to sell more products – at a better profit margin. Chuck, Bruno and I spent quality time with dealers and know they took away valuable information.”
Brands to represented in Baltimore include DEI, Sony Mobile, XpressKits, Pioneer, JVC Mobile, Arsenal, Mobileye, Arc Audio, PAC, SiriusXM, Atrend, Stinger, Metra, T-Spec, Rosen, HID Lights, Parrot, Rydeen and Audio Control.
Sony Mobile’s Anthony Tozzi related to 12voltnews.com “Dealers continue to be amazed at the accurate sound reproduction from the Sony Mobile GS speakers in an A/B comparison with a top line competitor. We set up 3 new dealers at the Specialty event in Baltimore and are looking forward to the events in Upstate New York.”
Chris Healy, The Healy Group, relayed to 12voltnews.com “We talked to a number of quality dealers about the CRUX, Faenheit and Power Acoustik lines we rep to Specialty. Dealers took advantage of the super summer deals on Farenheit and the CRUX Sightline camera, along with the OEM radio replacement modules, got a lot of attention.”
Jeff Jones, Specialty Marketing’s sales representative in Upstate New York, offered to 12voltnews.com “The Specialty Listening and Tech Tour rewards all dealers who attend. Many dealers are not traveling to major trade shows so our two shows in Upstate New York – Buffalo on August 13th and Syracuse on the 15th – should be strong.
In my memory, these will be the first distributor shows in Upstate New York. We encourage dealers to make their plans now to attend.”
Sandwiches for lunch and a Mexican buffet for dinner was served and dealers who attended the Baltimore event received a $25.card for travel expenses. Free stuff and raffles for products from DEI, Sony Mobile, Pioneer and JVC kept activities lively.
