FAIRFIELD, NJ (06.14.2013) – Specialty Marketing’s ambitious 2013 Listening and Tech Tour recorded another successful event on Tuesday, June 11th. The company’s New Jersey facility was the second stop on the 6-city schedule.

“Our tour stop in Fairfield exceeded our fairly lofty expectations -much like our first event in Mechanicsville a week ago” Lance Diehr told 12voltnews.com on Wednesday morning as he traveled I-95 south to Specialty’s home base in Virginia. “Dealer turnout from the area was strong. Our facility in New Jersey is relatively new and this tour stop was a chance for dealers to come and see our commitment to meeting their needs. It was a grand opening in some respects.”

Dealers started coming early and the traffic was steady through the day. Activity spiked after shops closed and the Italian dinner was served.

“The Fairfield, NJ show this past Tuesday allowed us to bring on board no less than 4 new Sony GS dealers in the metro NY area. Additionally we wrote a ton in Sony business” Anthony Tozzi remarked to 12voltnews.com.

Larry Appleblatt is Specialty’s 12volt point man for the company’s northern territory. Appleblatt commented to 12voltnews.com “We had over 60 shops represented and the total attendance was well over 100. Our vendor support was tremendous. DEI and Opus Marketing conducted hands on sessions around the new remote start ready products and Sony opened a lot of eyes, and ears, with the A/B comparison set up with the GS speakers. Mobileye staff took dealers on short rides in the area to demo their company”s collision avoidance products. Pioneer and other vendors experienced very keen in their latest products and technology.”

“The show went very well. Dealers were very interested in the iSimple product and other integration and connectivity products that PAC is known for in the marketplace” Kevin Allen, Sales Manager-Distribution AAMP of America stated to 12voltnews.com.

Rydeen was represented at the Specialty event by company owner Phil Maeda and national sales manager Jim Newell. Newell emailed to 12voltnews.com “We have had a booth at both Specialty events. At both sites dealers have told us how overwhelmingly pleased they have been with our product’s reliability. In addition, dealers indicated Rydeen has earned their trust by providing great margins while providing safety and convenience for their customers.”
