FARGO, ND (05.13.2013) – Mid-State Distributing fired up the grill, set the training seminars and offered smoking hot deals for 12volt retailers attending the company’s 2013 Fargo dealer show Thursday and Friday, April 25th & 26th.

Tom Kolar, Mid-State National Sales Manager-12volt, reported to 12voltnews.com “We had a good event in Fargo. In fact we doubled our sales from the 2012 event and averaged nearly 40 in the audience at each of the 5 Thursday afternoon training sessions. We are continuing to grow our presence in our northern most territory. Events like our annual Fargo show, with strong support from our vendor partners, provides a terrific venue for dealers to connect with industry members, see new products and catch wind of upcoming trends.”

Mid-State”s Randy Balzum, along with Kolar, orchestrated the Fargo event and manned the grill. “Our 5 training sessions were each pretty full. After the last session it was time to grill steaks and set out the fixin’s. Between Thursday night’s dinner and Friday lunch we grilled right at 100 steaks, 60 brats and dozens of burgers. Our Fargo event is low key and that gives our dealers a chance to really go through the lines and spend quality time with vendors and their reps.”

“As I was grilling steaks and brats I had a chance to talk with a good number of our dealers. Many drove several hours to attend – like 6 hours, from Dickinson North Dakota and down from Canada. Knowing the overall dollar size of this market they were all very appreciative of the investment required to host the Fargo event.”

“The Fargo and Omaha events provided our dealers with great deals and product training sessions. We thank our dealers for attending and vendors for their tremendous support. At Mid-State we are looking forward to a very good car audio season. Surely we have seen the last of the snow for 2013” Kolar concluded.
