PONTIAC, MI (05.01.2013) – Altron’s annual dealer show was on the calendar of 12volt retailers across Michigan and surrounding states.
“Our show was great this year. Attendance was up over 25% from last year. The new additions of Brax/ Helix, plus the Wirez Installation line, generated a lot of interest from dealers. We had super show specials for those attending and the products were flying out the door. Many dealers came with trucks and trailers to take advantage of the outstanding deals and save on freight and shipping time” Mark Erdman, Altron’s General Manager, related to 12voltnews.com.

Altron’s event drew terrific support from vendors. Factory and manufacturer reps on working the event included Al Condon and Trey Luce from Brax/Helix; Dave MacKinnon and Terry Letteney from Wirez; Bill Barron with JL Audio/ Compustar; Marc Hill with Race Sport Lighting; Gene Goza of Memphis Car Audio; Neal Batson with DB Link; Chris Jeanke and Ryan Kuhlman of the Sony Tech team; Patrick Szeman and Richard Scott from Reikken/Energie power cell; and Rafael Infante from Metra Electronics.
“The Altron show was an amazing opportunity to show and answer questions about the new Metra AX-AD box. We showed this new product at CES 2013 and started shipping recently. The AX-AD box provides a wide range of interface solutions in one “box” and that dramatically cuts down on the number of SKU’s dealers need to stock. Dealer’s reactions at the show in Pontiac was very enthusiastic” Rafael Infante stated to 12voltnews.com.
Dealers attending were treated to delicious food and a sampling of great wines.
“Our place was packed from the 9 AM opening til we closed at 9PM. Dealers had an opportunity to network with suppliers and their counterpart. We had so many positive comment about the merchandising scheme in the RKST retail showroom floor” Erdman concluded.
