Marietta, GA. (04.25.2013) – Vickers AV, a distributor of 12-Volt and Home electronics, held their annual “World’s Greatest Dealer Show” this past weekend.

Vickers AV started the weekend festivities by hosting their Dealer Appreciation Dinner on Saturday night. Vickers AV treated over 350 people to dinner, an open bar, Las Vegas-style gambling and a chance to win some time in the money-grab cube. “It was an incredible night”, remarked Kelley Vickers. “Our valued dealers and vendor partners had a great time.  We like to show our appreciation to our dealers for their business and their friendship. We had dealers come as far as Nebraska, Texas, South Florida as well as representatives from Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama and Virginia.”

Vickers also introduced his father, Ralph Vickers, who has been in the electronics business since 1955, 58 years ago. To help illustrate his point, Vickers talked about how the world has changed since 1955: The average house sold for $10,900.00, the average yearly income was $4100.00 and gas was 23 cents a gallon. What has not changed is the commitment of Mr. Vickers to make his dealers profitable and keep his vendors happy. Vickers keeps their overhead low to enable their dealers to have the best prices on all of our products. You’ll never find any chandeliers or granite counter-tops in their warehouse!
