LINCOLN, RI (04.24.2013) – It was a sure bet. 12volt dealers attending the Sylvester Electronics Spring Showcase 2013 at the Twin Rivers Casino were all winners.
“This was our 12th Spring Dealer event and the 3rd at the Twin Rivers Casino. We packed a lot into the ten hour show” Tom Sylvester commented to 12voltnews.com. Sylvester added “We had some crazy, crazy jaw dropping cash and carry deals including closeouts from our remaining MTX inventory. Other great deals were available at the show too. In addition to the great deals, our show provides dealers with an opportunity to see and learn about new produces and technologies. Many dealers in our territory are not traveling to major trade shows. Regional events are so important and our vendor support for our event was tremendous.”
Pioneer, Kicker, Directed, iSimple, Metra, Audiovox, Artend, AutoStart, Bass Inferno, Jensen, Avital, Dynamat, Vizuakogic, Optix, USA Spec, Crimestopper, Rostra, BOYO, Stringer and Accele were included in the list of vendors on the floor in the event center ballroom.
Cary Moran, Sound Source, related to 12voltnrws.com “The Sylvester event is always well attended. They do it right. BOYO, Accele and Bass Inferno were the 3 lines our firm represented at the event. Dealers understand that value BOYO offers as well as Accele. The Bass Inferno line is feature packed at a rock bottom price. Ernie Welch, the National Sales Manager, was on hand and presented a seminar geared to selling systems.”
idataLink’s Phil Camirand presented a seminar that covered the latest and greatest from ADS including new vehicle applications for the iDatalink Multi series. The non KLON, Ford 80bit firmware was also on the agenda.
Pioneer’s Vince McGraw coverd the latest updates to the Pioneer AppRadio offerings. USA Spec’s Bob Morgan stated to 12voltnews.com “Sylvester does a super job with our BlueTooth products – the Honda and Toyota solutions move well and the new VW product is just around the corner.
“Once again we had our “PassPort” program in place. Dealers carried the “PassPort” to each booth. There was a lot of action at the Kicker booth – a new vendor on our lie card. Once dealers completed the “trip” to each booth they were entered into raffle drawings. Platinum Sound-East Bridgewater, MA- was the winner of the 9″ Android tablet that was the top raffle item.”
