Long Beach, CA (04.11.2013) – Kenwood USA Corporation announced the return of the X Rewards program that is designed to help authorized Kenwood Excelon dealers maximize their sales potential and drive inventory sell-through.
Scott Caswell, Senior Manager of Marketing for Kenwood’s consumer electronics sector, said “X Rewards is a proven sell-through assistance program that provides the right incentives to sales people and helps dealers move inventory. X Rewards is part of our 2013 dealer merchandising initiative that also includes unique tools for promotion, education and digital marketing. Used all together in a carefully scheduled merchandising program, dealers should see an overall increase in floor traffic as well as quicker inventory turns and higher average selling tickets.”
The X Rewards program has an education requirement prior to participation. Kenwood’s online training portal (www.kenwooduniversity.com) must be accessed and all participants are to complete the online training which provides the tools necessary to understand Kenwood’s 2013 product lineup and to properly accessorize them on the sales floor. System building, up-selling and technology comprehension are key areas of focus. “Having the participants first complete the online training gives them a confidence boost and helps them to qualify their customers quicker and more accurately,” said Caswell.
This year Kenwood’s X Rewards is including selected SiriusXM and ADS products as attachment opportunities, allowing sales people to earn additional points by adding a qualifying SiriusXM satellite radio tuner, an ADS iDataLink Maestro RR Ford SYNC integration module, and/or an ADS steering wheel interface adapter.
