Dallas, TX (07.05.12)– Eagle Distributors has greatly expanded the company’s Dallas facility and celebrated with a Grand Opening event on July 19th and 20th, Thursday and Friday respectively.
Vendors were set up in the showroom area and in the warehouse. In the area behind Eagle’s Addison facility the Rockford Sound Lab, Oakley Tour Rig and a number of Sony demo vehicles, including a Ferrari F430, were on display.
The “grilling station” for burgers and hot dogs at lunch time, and steaks for dinner, was set up adjacent to the demo vehicles. Wayne Messina, Jr. braved the heat by the Big Green Egg – with a big hand from Jason Ural. Lunch was served on Thursday and Friday the steaks ion Thursday night. Cocktails on Friday afternoon concluded the grand opening event.
“We have nearly doubled the footprint of our facility in Dallas. Our new Addison-based facility features a dealer friendly showroom and convenient dealer order pickup area. We took this opportunity to show all 12volt, home theater, home security and home automation retailers in the area our new layout” Mickey Ural relayed to 12voltne.com from Eagle’s Kenner, LA office.
The first 25 dealers, who registered online, picked up a free Oakley fishing rod. Those 25 dealers used the world class Oakley fishing rod to hook some great Grand Opening deals.
Jackie Boles and Chad Brown, JB Electronics, made the hour and a half trip in Sulphur Springs to attend the event. Boles told 12voltnews.com “We picked up some super deals, got the latest product info on key lines from reps and had a really tender steak on Thursday night. A really good event for us.”
NOS provided some additional energy for Eagle’s Grand Opening celebration.
The Metra brands, with Tom Comenole, were positioned at the entrance of the warehouse. Across the aisle Tim Morris showed the new Philips Automotive lighting products and George Reed had some super Concept specials. Jim Newell had the latest Rydeen mirror on display. Mark Couch answered questions for dealers with Audio Control and PowerBass.

Jason Heim and David Hammond proudly showed the new Eagle showroom area to dealers while Barry Beller worked with dealers on upcoming promotions including the Sony Listening Tour and the Texas Heatwave.
“The Grand Opening in Dallas was huge and really kick off a series of big events for us. We will be working with Sony dealers on a number of consumer events in the area like the CupCake series and the HeatWave in Austin. And then we will have a big presence at Knowledgefest in Dallas. Sony and SiriusXM are presenting sponsors. In addition, we have additional vendors setting Knowledgefest plans. It’s going to be a very busy summer and our new facility in Dallas will be the hub” Chase Hatcher, Eagle’s General Sales Manager, related to 12voltnews.com.
“The highlight at the Eagle event was Ferrari F430 with the Sony 601BT MirrorLink headunit plus new Sony amps and speakers. The installation is suburb and the SQ and overall sound is even better. Experience this vehicle when you can.
