When Mitch Swicegood and Mark Baker left the Shiflet Dickson dealer show on Sunday, March 18th they knew they got some great deals, saw old friends and got some new ideas. When notified they won the $1000.00 Shiflet Dickson account credit their trip got even sweeter.
12voltnews.com contacted both Swicegood and Baker to get their reactions. “We have been going to the Shiflet show for years. There are always good deals and we pick up good info. Winning the grand made it a whole lot better this year” Baker, who runs the NTune location in Lexington, NC commented to 12voltnews.com.
“Learning we won the $1000.00 credit from the Shiflet Dickson show was great news. We placed a big order there and this credit certainly adds to the great time we had at the show. I was a big surprise when Chris Darnell, our rep with Shiflet, told us we won” Swicegood, who runs the NTune store in Salisbury, NC 12voltnews.com.
Both Baker and Swicegood indicated business is very good, across the board, in 2012. “We are seeing quite a bit of replacement business. Some customers are using tax refunds to fix and replace equipment. In some cases product shortages are creating a few problems” Swicegood offered.
Darnell told 12voltnews.com “I am so happy for Mark and Mitch. Both of their stores are top notch and they work hard to stay up to date on new technology and take care of their customers.”
“The $1000.00 account credit was a way for us to add some more excitement to our event this year. We had such a super show. We were slammed the entire week after the show processing and shipping orders. Our specials and buy-in programs were well received. Part of our show program was the option for dealers to schedule releases on orders placed at the show” Shiflet Dickson’s GM David Holland stated tom 12voltnews.com.
