The C-DSP and P-DSP Set New Standard for Signal Processing Sound Quality

TEMPE, AZ (01.03.11) – Rockford Corporation and European partner Helix announce that it will debut the new Precision and Competition series signal processors at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nev. from Jan. 10-12, 2012, in The Palms Ballroom. The C-DSP is scheduled to ship by January 2012, while the P-DSP is now shipping.

“The ‘Rolls Royce’ of digital signal processors, the C-DSP is designed for the highest sound quality without compromise…from the inputs to the outputs,” said Theresa Hephner, Rockford senior director, products and marketing. “And not to be outdone, the first stand-alone DSP that deserves to be called a HELIX, the new P-DSP is more than convincing proof that noisy, distorting sound processors are finally a thing of the past.”

The 8-channel C-DSP is not one, but two audio processors with 56-bit resolution ensure loss-free signal processing and the finest A/D and D/A converters otherwise used only in studio technology guarantee previously unheard-of signal-to-noise ratios and THD values. The hardware’s attention to detail is just as meticulous as it is in the software. The intuitive user interface works without all the gimmicks in order to focus on extremely precise setting options that are certain to make the heart of any sound enthusiast beat faster.

The 8-channel P-DSP’s excellent technical specs are combined with a feature package that could hardly be more impressive in actual practice. Intuitive operation, thanks to a clearly structured graphical PC interface, enables any ambitious audio enthusiast to optimize the sound virtually any which way they please.
