Sunday, July 31st was the date. “The turn out was terrific across the board. Well over 100 vehicles went through the bikini car wash. Eleven lovely young bikini clad ladies from “The Pit Girls” spent much of the day washing cars, trucks and SUV’s. The weather was perfect – with not a cloud in the sky. We raised just over $800. bucks for the Grahamtastic cause to provide laptops for hospitalized children” Sanford Sound owner Bogard commented to 12voltnews.com.

The show and shine contest drew 79 entries and the SPL contest garnered 25 contestants. Northeast SPL, with Steve Griffin, conducted the sound-off event.

A number of 12volt vendors were on hand for the 15th Annual Sanford Sound Bikini Car Wash. Collette represented the Alpine brand once again. Dave West was in the house representing Arc Audio. The Wireless Zone can from Springvale and New England Beverage supplied energy drinks to keep the Pit Girls energized as they worked away. The bikini contest had 8 contestants. A booty shake contest was added this year.

AfterFX, with Matt Jackson, got every spectator’s attention with the stunning Lamborghini.

“This year’s event really came together. The weather, the crowd and so much support. Sales in the store were very good and we should feel a positive lift in sales for several weeks after the event” Bogard concluded.
