New Retrosound Radios Offer Advanced Features For Classics

Chino, CA (12.29.10) – Retro Manufacturing today announced the release of two new radios designed specifically for the classic vehicle enthusiast market. The “Retromatic” and “Model Two” will offer “made for iPod” features and convenience previously unavailable on classic vehicle radios. iPod/iPhone charge, on screen data, and control will be incorporated into the two models along with features such as subwoofer out, adjustable crossover, USB port and RF remote control.

The company will be showing samples of the new radios to select dealers and restoration professionals in Las Vegas, January 6-9, at  Bally’s Hotel. The radios will be available Spring 2011, coinciding with the traditional upswing in classic car activity across the nation.

The ‘Retromatic” is a direct fit replacement for popular late 60’s to mid-70’s GM and Ford vehicles featuring push buttons and authentic design. The “Model Two” is a broad application product that will fit a wide variety of pre 1985 domestic and foreign  vehicles, similar to its predecessor, the Model One.

Steve Harrington, president of Retro Manufacturing stated: “we developed these radios in response to demand from classic car enthusiasts and restoration professionals to provide authentic looking radios that accommodate iPod features only available through the authorized Apple “made for iPod” program”.” Then we took it a step further and added additional features and styling cues that make these radios an obvious choice for the classic car enthusiast”.
