Dallas TX (May 6, 2010) – 12Volt retailers from Dallas and the surrounding region made their way to the 6th annual A&W distributors’ Show on Sunday, April 25th.
A&W traditionally hosts one of the premier dealer shows in thew 12volt industry. Their 2010 show was no exception. The company’s wide selection of brands caters to a broad dealer network that includes a large contingent of Hispanic dealers, business partners and friends.
Maher Awad, who heads the Company’s operations told 12voltnews.com “We had a great show. Dealers responded to our invitation to join us in a new hotel setting for our dealer show. This new venue, the Elegante Hotel and Suites of Northwest Highway, allowed us to raise the bar. This new venue provided a ballroom for exhibitors to set up displays, great meeting facilities and a large parking lot for demo and display vehicles. The hotel setting also eliminated any threats from bad weather”.
Awad continued “Our show was a big success, everything turned out great, and we had many dealers and lots of sales. About 95% of dealers that showed bought something at our show. All our vendors were proud to be a part of our 6th annual show and were impressed by how rapidly our company has grown over the past few years.”
The show took place from 9 am to 5 pm and brought out over 300 dealers. The dealers were excited to see the extensive mix of high end product lines available and meet A&W’s vendors, representatives and spokesmodels. As a special treat, eight high-end vehicles were showcased just outside the ballroom area and food and drink was plentiful. Alphasonik was on-hand displaying their product line, along with banners, catalogs, free t-shirts and promotional giveaways. Representing Alphasonik was Vice President, Rick Andersen and Southwestern Regional Sales Manager, Abdel Aboabdo.
“The diverse customer base that A&W brings to the car audio entertainment industry is a key for our future business,” said Rick Andersen. “This is our opportunity to showcase Alphasonik to the southwest region. And by displaying our new products for 2010 and the enhancements we’ve made to existing products, we want the world to know that Alphasonik is back with a vengeance.”

Rockford Fosgate focuses on the Experience with RF SOUNDLAB
TEMPE, AZ., (May 6, 2010) – Rockford Fosgate launches “Expect More” tour with the new RF SOUNDLAB demonstration vehicle.
The RF SOUNDLAB is the ultimate high-performance audio demonstration vehicle. Based on a long–wheelbase Mercedes Benz sprinter chassis, RF SoundLab has both a 10,000 watt audio carnival ride, appropriately called THE PRESSURE CHAMBER as well as the SOUNDLAB, an interactive in-car demonstration that gives participants the opportunity to experience Rockford high-performance components in their vehicle.
“The RF SOUNDLAB is all about the Rockford Fosgate experience and demonstrates what’s possible with our products,” explains David Slepak, Director of Marketing. “Over 10,000 watts of power, twelve PUNCH P3 15” subwoofers, four sets of POWER T1 component loudspeakers, two I-Beam tactile transducers all set to a 3 minute music and LED light show… THE PRESSURE CHAMBER hits all your senses.”
After a “ride” in the PRESSURE CHAMBER, The Rockford Fosgate SOUNDLAB is packed with the latest amplifiers, subwoofers and full-range loudspeakers that Rockford offers. Each in-vehicle demonstration unit allows a participant the ability to experience a high-performance audio system in their own vehicle.
Randy Strunk, Creative Sales and Marketing told 12voltnews.com, “I can’t wait to have this vehicle in my territory. I experienced it at CES and it is an awesome demonstration for Rockford Fosgate products.”
