Dallas / Fort Worth, TX – Texas Bass Productions is a grass roots initiative conceived by Curtis Harrison to promote car audio and competitions in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding area.
Harrison told 12voltnews.com “I’ve been doing this local circuit for 5 years. It’s fun for me and provides a way for enthusiasts to show their systems and network with their peers. It also promotes the car audio business.”
A schedule of 24 events is laid out the first of each season. Hooter’s Restaurant is a main sponsor and multiple events are held in their parking lots. Several area 12 volt retailers, like Audio Depot, Sonic Boom and DFW Stereo, host Texas Bass Production events in their store parking lots. A recent Saturday evening event at Audio Depot in Arlington drew a crowd approaching 150 spectators. On the following Monday Audio Depot staff was busy with jobs from the Saturday evening event.
“Curtis has done a really good job helping local retailers promote their stores. His competitors tend to be entry level and that drives business for local shops.” – Pete Daley, Marketing Professionals.
“Texas Bass Productions is all about our competitors. Car audio is their passion and we want to give them an opportunity to show their creativity and support their local car audio shops as well” Curtis Harrison told 12voltnews.com.
This year’s finals is set for November 8th at the Hooters in Fort Worth.
