Dallas, TX – Southwest Electronix, a fixture on the 12 volt scene in the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas territory since 1976, has expanded their product line up.
Company VP Rod Ulrich, told 12voltnews.com “Its certainly a busy time around here. Craig and I just got back from the Pioneer Road Show in Long Beach. The Pioneer line up, particularly with the launch of the new nav products, is very strong for ’09. Just prior to the recent Consumer Electronics Expo we added the Cadence line to the 12 volt side of our business. And now, as of July 1st, we were appointed the Rockford Fosgate distributor for the territory.”
Southwest distributes Pioneer throughout the state of Texas. The Rockford territory is comprised of Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. For Cadence Southwest is the distributor for all 4 states.
Pioneer named Southwest the Distributor of the Year for 2008.
Ulrich continued “The addition of the Cadence line in May opened up a number of opportunities for us to deliver more value to the dealerbase in the territory. Cadence is a very performance driven line. Its clean in the marketplace and is a real profit opportunity for retailers. We are working closely with Tony Macrini on the factory level and closely with the area rep firm Marketing Professionals.
The appointment as the Rockford distributor is certainly fresh news. The initial shipments are in the warehouse and training workshops are on tap for mid July
The Ego line of hands-free Bluetooth products rounds out the company’s 12 volt line up.
Brothers Craig and Rod Ulrich head up a team that includes Spencer Ulrich, based in Austin, who covers central and west Texas; Dave Benge who covers Houston and the Rio Grande Valley and Jason Heim who covers north Texas.
